THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE (HEREINAFTER THE "GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS") OF https://www.costco.co.uk, https://www.costcotravel.co.uk and the Costco UK Application (HEREINAFTER THE "SITE") GOVERN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COSTCO WHOLESALE UK Ltd, COSTCO ONLINE UK Ltd, COSTCO TRAVEL UK Ltd (HEREINAFTER "COSTCO" OR "WE") AND THE USERS OF THE SITE (HEREINAFTER THE "USER" OR "YOU"). BY USING THE SITE, YOU UNRESERVEDLY ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Purpose of the Site
The Site presents some of the products and services offered by Costco and allows users to join and/or renew their membership. Any membership and/or renewal of membership is subject to this Terms & Conditions Costco invites users to refer to it for more information.
By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms (Site Terms). If you do not have the authority to agree to or accept these Site Terms, you may not use or access this Site.
The Site Terms apply to:
- the use of the Site
- our sale and supply of goods and services via the Site.
The Site Terms include, but are not limited to the Delivery, Cancellations and Assistance Policy. Please review the Site Terms and all related policies before using the Site.
We handle your Personal Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Modification of Site Terms
Costco reserves the right to modify these Site Terms in our sole discretion from time to time and only Costco has the right to do so. If the Site Terms are changed, we will post the new terms on the Sites and note the date they were last updated. Any changes or modification will be effective upon posting of the Site Terms as revised, and your use of the Sites following the posting will constitute your acceptance of the new Site Terms.
Definitions and Interpretation
In the Site Terms:
“Big and Bulky items” means items that are large in size, heavy or both.
"Consumer" means an individual who uses the site to purchase goods or services from us that are not related to their trade, business or profession;
"Cookies" are small text files stored on your computer.
"Costco Companies" means Costco Wholesale Corporation, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates;
"Costco Member" means a trade or individual member of any of the warehouse club membership programmes operated by the Costco Companies;
"Costco Satisfaction Guarantee" means the Costco satisfaction guarantee set out in the Consumer Delivery, Cancellation, Replacement and Returns Policies;
“Executive Member” Costco’s premium membership.
"Personal Data" means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable living individual;
"Site Materials" means all materials on the Site including, but without limitation to, trademarks, design, product description, HTML text, graphics, other files, photographs, codes, software layout, designs forms and the selection and arrangement thereof;
"Subscriber" means an individual who pays an annual subscription fee in order to shop on the Site but who is not a current Costco Member.
